Important Tryout Information

Registration Fee
There is a $25 fee for tryouts, payable by cash or check (preferred). Please bring your payment with you to tryouts.

AAU Membership
All prospective players must be registered with AAU, and must bring their membership card to tryouts. No athlete will be allowed to try out without an active “Extended” AAU membership. Make certain you choose the “Extended” membership. Some events are not ‘sanctioned’ which means they are not covered by general insurance which means you are responsible. For $2 more per membership, you are not. 🙂

More information about AAU can be found here. When you complete your registration with AAU, the membership card can be found at the bottom of the screen.  No athlete will be allowed to try out without the physical membership card – no exceptions.   Thank you.

Club Affiliation – Not Yet!
Please  do not affiliate with a particular club prior to tryouts – it is just important that your athlete  is a member of AAU.  Affiliation with the chosen club can be made after accepting an offer from that club.

Copy of Birth Certificate
Please also bring a copy of your player’s birth certificate with you to tryouts. Some tournaments are requiring them; they will be kept with the coach at all times in a sealed envelope.

Arrival Time
Arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tryout slot so that you have plenty of time to complete your registration, receive your tryout t-shirt, and get sized for your jersey.
