FCAMDVB Indoor Practice Risk Mitigation Procedures

We understand there is a lot of uncertainty and stress surrounding this time.  All coaches and athletes associated with FCAMDVB are like family to us; as such, their safety and well-being is of utmost importance. We believe we are taking the necessary precautions to protect our players and coaches; unfortunately, we can never tell if a person may be infected unless they are showing a fever or other symptoms.  With this in mind, we have implemented the following protocol — all coaches and athletes are expected to follow this protocol precisely:

  • Coaches and players must be symptom-free in order to attend practice
  • Only players and coaches will enter the facility
  • Upon arrival, coaches will take the players’ temperatures; if a player is running a fever (>100.4) they will not be allowed to enter the practice facility
  • All players and coaches will sanitize hands upon entering the facility
  • All players and coaches will wear masks until they enter the court
  • Players’ bags will be spaced a minimum of six feet apart along the wall
  • No gathering during water breaks or before/after practice – players must stay 6 feet apart
  • Masks remain on until players are on the court; each time they leave the court they must put on their mask
  • Hands are sanitized each time the girls return to the court
  • When the practice is over, balls are sanitized
  • Girls are dismissed in waves to avoid overcrowding in the doorways
  • Masks are put back on to leave the facility
  • Door handles are wiped down as we leave

We believe following this protocol enables us to hold practice in the safest manner possible. If you have any questions, please contact us.
